Frequently Asked Questions

Why does fancy text work on platforms that don't support custom fonts?

These are Unicode mathematical and symbol characters, not fonts. The characters are encoded in Unicode just like regular letters — every platform that supports text supports them. No font installation needed.

Will my Instagram bio keep the fancy style?

Yes. Instagram stores the actual Unicode characters. Whatever you see in the generator is what will appear in your bio. The style is baked into the characters, not dependent on any font.

Do numbers and punctuation get converted too?

Letters (a–z, A–Z) are fully converted. Numbers have Unicode equivalents for circled and fullwidth styles. Punctuation and spaces are kept as-is since Unicode equivalents don't exist for all punctuation in every style.

Is there a character limit?

The tool supports up to 1,000 characters at a time. For longer content, split it into chunks.

Why don't some styles show on my phone?

Rendering depends on the device's Unicode font support. Older Android phones or some custom ROMs may not include all Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric characters. iOS and most modern Android devices render all styles correctly.
